PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
The information processing takes place exclusively with a view to providing services efficiently and effectively, in particular, particularly with respect to the following activities: the assessment and acceptance of (potential) clients, and entering into agreements; the execution of agreements with a client; the analysis of personal data for increasing the client base, improving the range of products and services, and better adapting services to the personal situation of the client; the carrying out of (targeted) marketing activities in order to create a relationship and/or to maintain or extend a relationship with a client; the preservation of the safety and integrity of the financial services sector, which includes the combating, the prevention and the detection of (attempts to commit) (punishable) behaviors directed against the Rabobank Group or divisions of the same, its clients and employees, as well as the use of and participation in warning systems; the satisfaction of statutory obligations.
TYPE OF PERSONAL DATA
De Lage Landen processes all types of personal data which are specific to the purposes for which they are processed.
ORIGIN OF PERSONAL DATA
The personal data that De Lage Landen processes come from the client himself, public information databases, trade and banking information offices and databases available within the Rabobank Group.
PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA
To the extent that this does not follow from the law, De Lage Landen does not provide any personal data to third parties outside the Rabobank Group without the permission of the client.
RIGHTS
The client has the right to demand a list of the processed personal data, the purpose of the processing as well as the origin of the information. Except in exceptional cases provided for under the law, De Lage Landen shall send information about the processing of personal data to the client as quickly as possible. If the list shows that personal data are factually in correct, the customer may request the modification or removal of the personal data in question. De Lage Landen will notify the client as quickly as possible after the receipt of the above-mentioned request in writing, or about the extent to which the request will be satisfied. If De Lage Landen processes personal data in connection with (canvassing for) charitable or commercial purposes, the customer can object to the same at all times, free of cost. In case of objection, De Lage Landen will take measures to terminate this form of processing of personal data as quickly as possible.
