Athlon Car Lease expands to Italy

- Athlon Car Lease International signed agreement to acquire Masterlease’s business in Italy
- Italy important addition to Athlon’s international network  
- Agreement fits with Athlon’s aspirations to strengthen its European position

Athlon Car Lease International is happy to announce that an agreement has been made to acquire Masterlease Italy. Athlon Car Lease and Masterlease Italy finalized the agreement on Wednesday Sept. 30th 2009 with the consent of the respective parents, De Lage Landen International B.V. and GMAC Financial Services. The transfer of the Masterlease business in Italy to Athlon Car Lease International is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
