For the 2nd time De Lage Landen elected as ‘Green Lessor of the Year’

Leasing company De Lage Landen has won the Green Lessor of the Year Award 2011. It is the second time the company has received this prestigious prize. The Award honors the lessor deemed to have made the biggest inroads into green technology finance, while also cutting the environmental impact of day to day operations. The award was fiercely contested and reflects the increasing significance of sustainability for the asset finance industry.

Sustainability embedded in the business

The Leasing Life awards identify those organizations that have set the benchmark for best practice, as well as those which have made outstanding progress in an increasingly competitive and turbulent market.  The Green Lessor award recognises the ongoing efforts by the De Lage Landen to further enhance its sustainability performance: The company sets ambitious targets to minimize its global environmental footprint, and seeks to have positive impact on the local communities in which it operates. Sustainability is also firmly embedded in the business model of De Lage Landen, as the company expands into new markets, such as renewable energy, sustainable mobility and sustainable food and agriculture.
