Consumer finance

Our consumer finance activities focus on the Netherlands, where we develop and market products through a specialist division. This division also acts as a consumer credit competency center for the entire Rabobank Group.

We offer products for public sector employees through Crediam, an online brand which we acquired in 2006. In 2007, we entered the fast-growing market for general consumer online credit with our Freo brand. Freo offers flexible personal loans up to 50,000 Euros.

Freo draws on our financial strength and experience to guarantee consumers transparency, honesty and clarity. We set out these values publicly in our Freo-norm© guidelines.

Point of sale consumer credit
We have extensive experience in point-of-sale consumer credit. We partner with retailers and dealers, particularly in the automotive sector. Our services allow them to offer their customers credit either under their own name or under the De Lage Landen name.
