We market our products and services primarily through vendor / dealer finance partners and financial institutions. These institutions include retail banks in the USA and the Netherlands.

Our flagship vendor finance unit provides small- and mid-ticket vendor lease financing programs to manufacturers, distributors and dealers worldwide. These programs allow our partners to offer their customers the benefits of purchasing capital goods through affordable regular payments.

Leasing eliminates the need for end-customers to obtain bank loans or make cash investments. As a result, it can be a valuable sales tool for manufacturers, distributors and dealers. It enhances profitability, customer loyalty and market advantage.

To deliver the best possible service and finance solutions, we focus on a select set of industries. Our partners within these industries can offer lease financing under their own name or under the De Lage Landen brand.

Additional solutions for vendor finance partners
We also offer our partners additional commercial finance products designed to improve cash flow and release working capital. These include factoring, inventory finance, purchase order programs, floor planning and leasing to finance their own vehicle fleet or IT installation. Our wide scope supports innovative product combinations to meet our partners’ needs.

Direct sales to business customers
In our home market of the Netherlands, we offer leasing and business finance solutions directly to business customers. These include car leasing through Athlon Car Lease, a European market leader which we acquired in 2006. Athlon is active in seven countries and manages over 120,000 vehicles, offering European scale for our Netherlands-based car lease customers.

Financial institutions channel
We also partner with retail banks who sell our lease, business and consumer finance solutions to their customers. Our partners include branches of Rabobank in the Netherlands and in other countries where Rabobank is present. In the USA, we work with a variety of banks, from small local branches to country-wide institutions.
