Paul Tran-Minh

International Management Trainee 2009, from France:

Coming from a very diverse background, I have always been drawn to multicultural environments. Having graduated in Business Management after studies in France, Germany and the UK, I was looking towards building further on that international exposure. At the same time, I was keen on getting onboard with a company I knew would provide me with the best possible training to start out my career. From the several assessment centers I attended, one company clearly stood through its comprehensive and personal selection procedure: De Lage Landen. The first hand impressions from former trainees, the thoroughness of the planned training as well as the true international nature of the business were the elements that really sold me on the program.

As a trainee within the Asset Management & Remarketing division, I am deeply involved in a number of exciting projects which have real impact on the company’s business. I am currently working on the setting up of a remarketing platform, meeting up with first class external partners to make sure our business interests are met accordingly. I am also involved with new asset-class research and proposals that gives me the opportunity to become a subject matter expert on interesting potential new business directions.

From the start, I was given real responsibilities in a very personable and supportive environment. During my traineeship, I am also expected to spend some months in the US where the other half of my team is based.

Within our group of trainees, we are also lining up a project that I am confident will be given the right support and attention that I have come to expect from De Lage Landen.
